Why join us

A team that invests in you from day one

Directly employed, never agency

You join our team on a proper contract with us, not passed from agency to agency.

Training and DBS, paid for

We provide your induction training and arrange your DBS check, and we cover the cost. No experience? We’ll teach you everything you need.

Local rounds, close to home

Visits grouped across Croydon & Bromley, so you spend less time travelling and more time caring.

A close-knit local team

Real people who answer the phone and know you by name, with support whenever you need it.

Could this be you?

No experience needed, just the right heart

The best carers aren’t the ones with the longest CVs. They’re kind, reliable, and genuinely want to help. If that’s you, we’ll teach you the rest.

  • A caring, patient nature
  • Reliable and trustworthy
  • Comfortable spoken English (for care notes and safety)
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • A driving licence helps with local rounds, but isn’t essential everywhere

Questions

Common questions about working with us

Do I need experience to become a carer?

No. Many of our carers started with none at all. If you’re kind, reliable and willing to learn, we provide full induction training and arrange your DBS check (both paid for by us) before you ever visit a client on your own.

Will you provide training and a DBS check?

Yes, and we pay for them. Every new carer completes full induction training, and we arrange your enhanced DBS check before your first visit, so you’re never sent to support someone in their home unprepared.

Are you employed or agency?

You’re directly employed by Fabulous Homecare, not passed around by an agency. You join our local team on a proper contract, with real support behind you: a manager who knows your name, and colleagues nearby when you need a hand.

What hours can I work?

We have visits across the week (mornings, evenings and weekends) grouped into local rounds across Croydon & Bromley. Tell us the hours and days that suit you, and we’ll talk through what we can offer.

Do I need a car or driving licence?

A driving licence helps, because our visits are spread across local rounds, but it isn’t essential in every area. Let us know where you’re based and we’ll find rounds that work for you.

How much does the role pay?

We’ll discuss pay with you at interview, based on the role and your experience. It’s one of the first things we’ll be clear and upfront about, along with your hours, holiday and the support you can expect from us.

Which areas do you recruit in?

We recruit across the London boroughs of Croydon and Bromley, including Croydon, Purley, Thornton Heath, New Addington, Bromley, Beckenham and Orpington, and the surrounding areas. Tell us where you’re based and we’ll see what rounds are nearby.
