Privacy notice
In plain English: what we collect, why, and your rights. Last updated 13 June 2026.
Who we are
Fabulous Homecare Ltd (company number 11897810), The Lansdowne Building, 2 Lansdowne Road, Croydon, CR9 2ER. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office as a data controller, ICO registration ZC014813. Questions or requests: enquiries@fabuloushomecare.co.uk or 020 3957 8414.
What we collect when you contact us
If you call, email or use the enquiry form, we collect what you give us: your name, phone number, email address, postcode, and anything you tell us about the care you are looking for. Details about care needs can include health information, which the law treats as special-category data and which we handle with extra care.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
We use your details only to respond to your enquiry and arrange any care you ask us about (our legitimate interest in answering you, and steps taken at your request before entering a care agreement). Health details you choose to share are used only to understand what help is needed, necessary for arranging social care. We do not use your enquiry details for marketing, and we never sell data.
How long we keep enquiry details
Enquiry messages are kept for up to 12 months, then deleted, unless your enquiry becomes a care arrangement, in which case the information forms part of your care records, which have their own legally required retention periods.
If you apply to work with us
If you apply for a role (through the form on our Join us page, by email, or with a CV) we collect the details you send: your name, contact details, and the information in your application. We use them only to consider your application and, if it goes ahead, to arrange the next steps (our legitimate interest in recruiting, and steps taken at your request before any employment contract). We don’t use them for anything else. Applications from people we don’t go on to employ are kept for up to 6 months, then deleted; if you join the team, your details become part of your employment records.
Who sees it
Only our small office team. Form submissions reach us by email, delivered by our email provider acting on our instructions. We share information beyond that only when you ask us to (for example with your GP or council) or when the law requires it.
Cookies
When you first visit, we ask whether you’ll allow advertising cookies. These come from Google Ads and let us see which of our adverts led someone to enquire or call, so we don’t waste money on ads that aren’t helping local families find us.
Nothing is switched on until you choose. If you select “Reject”, no advertising cookies are set; if you select “Accept”, they are used only for the measurement above. We never sell your data. One small cookie remembers your choice, and you can change or withdraw it at any time using Cookie settings at the bottom of any page.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how it is used, just contact us using the details above. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk (opens in a new tab).
