Personal care: common questions
How much does personal care at home cost?
Home care with us starts from £26 an hour, and your first home visit (where we plan exactly what would help) is free, with no obligation to go ahead. Funding help is often available; our funding guide explains the main routes.
How quickly can personal care start?
Usually within days of your free home visit, and faster when something urgent has happened: a fall, a hospital discharge or a family carer suddenly unavailable. Tell us the situation and we will be honest about timings.
Will the same carers come each time?
Yes. We keep your team deliberately small so the same familiar faces visit each week, and we introduce any new carer in person before they ever visit alone. Every carer is DBS-checked, trained and directly employed by us.
Can visits change as Mum or Dad's needs change?
That is the point of home care. We review your care plan with you regularly and can add visits, shorten them or step up to specialist support without you ever having to start again with a new provider.
